In celebration of Father’s day, we have awesome deals and promotions on the go for all our deserving dads at uShaka Marine World!

uShaka Marine World is inviting dads to come and spend some quality time with their families on Sunday, June 19th and, because it’s still Fun Season at uShaka, the park is pulling out all the stops.

For every dad accompanied by his children, a combo ticket will cost him only R50 which provides him entrance into Sea World and Wet n Wild for a whole day. Alternatively, for dads with children between 2 and 12, uShaka Kids World is the place to be, so splash out on a ticket for dad for only R5 when a ticket is purchased for a child! Tickets can be purchased at uShaka Marine World ticketing office, but remember the above offer is valid for Sunday June 19th only. T’s & C’s apply.


For food-loving fathers – Wahooz is starting the celebrations early, where from 11th – 19th June, Dad can enjoy a breakfast at Wahooz between 8am – 10:30am and stand a chance to walk away with one of 2 Bacardi hand crafted surfboards which are up for grabs. All dad has to do is complete an entry form, attach his till slip and the prize could be his!  

That’s not all, on June 19th, our much celebrated Cargo Hold will be pulling out all the stops with their special Father’s day lunch and dinner menu.

Toasting this annual special occasion, with a number of tempting starter options, from which dad can select from, being that of Honey ginger Tempura (prawns, lightly crumbed, served with wasabi mayonnaise, soy ginger and julienne vegetables; calamari peri-peri (served with a savoury basmati rice salad, anchovy and caper sauce tartare, garnished with basil oil); beef carpaccio (rolled peppered beef accompanied by a herbed bouquet, shaved pecorino and a balsamic reduction); and vegetarian dishes include that of cream of tomato soup (crème fraiche and basil pesto) and Roasted butternut & Feta Salad (butternut, beetroot, pumpkin seeds & basil pesto-crusted feta tossed in a honey vinaigrette.

Scrumptious main course options are Chicken Supreme (herb cream cheese, with Mediterranean crushed potato and mustard sauce); Linefish (simply grilled, spices, lemon, olive oil and our famous French fries); Prawns National (grilled and served with peri-peri and lemon butter sauces, Lamb Cutlets (herbed potatoes, roast vegetables and spiced garlic lamb jus),  Captains Beef Fillet (Lightly smoked beef fillet, gorgonzola, fresh pear, candied pecan nut and a rosemary truffle jus); or our vegetarian Oven baked Gnocchi (soft potato dumplings in a three cheese sauce on a light tomato concasse).

And to complete the meal, with our delicious dessert offerings, select one of three, that of the cheese platter (includes three cheeses, preserves and savoury biscuits); warm toffee apple pudding (served with caramel sauce and vanilla ice cream) or Baked cheesecake (vanilla ice cream and berry coulis).

All diners have the option of having either a starter and a main course or a main course and dessert for R195. If you decide to do it all, the set menu will be R235 per head.
