Microwave Fudge



  • 1 tin condensed milk
  • 500g castor sugar
  • 110g butter
  • 5ml vanilla essence



Place all the ingredients into a large heat resistant bowl (it bubbles up), except for the vanilla essence.

Heat for 4 minutes, until the mixture has dissolved.

Microwave again for another 8 – 10 min or until the mixture starts to look a light caramel colour.

Add the vanilla essence and beat with a wooden spoon.

Pour into a glass grease proof dish and cut into squares before it cools.
